That ever was.
China Glaze Emerald Sparkle
Three coats, no top coat.
This is a pretty amazing polish. It's a green glitter packed into a deep green jelly base that pushes the edge of vampy. It changes depending on the light, it can go almost black, but it really always remains green.
Yes. The sparkle!
Really gorgeous. I want this type of polish in every color!
It looks so deep and intense, it's hard to describe how gorgeous it actually is.
SPARKLE!!!
I wore this for four days, it only showed a slight sign of tip wear. My top coat was NYC quick dry top coat in the tapered bottle (their other cylindrical bottle is a fail for me).
Quite a success story!
This polish came out in 2008 and it's been a perennial hit ever since. Rightly so. I don't see it on the usual etailer sites, but it is on Amazon and eBay.
Thanks for reading my little nail polish journal!
No perhaps about it....IMNSHO, this is THE best green. Ever. Period. It's one of the two nail polishes that, in real life, not only lived up to every glamour shot on the web, but surpassed them. It's that good. I'm kicking myself for not picking up a backup when I had the chance.
ReplyDeleteThen again, given how often I wear green, this should last me the rest of my natural life :).
I agree that it lives up to the hype! ;D
DeleteI only recently became aware of this one being a big hit back in the day (Nail Polish History 101) ... An Amazon comment has just clued me in to a multiple batches issue, where the "good" looks like this and the "bad" is more of a blue green base...hard to tell which you'd get from the low price on Amazon, whereas on eBay it is $20..
ReplyDeleteYeah there was a bad batch, but I don't know a lot about that, mine is older, I think.
