When Serena Williams came out with her sets back in 2010 and 2011. I've been slowly collecting them over the years. This was an extremely strong collection with an excellent point of view. The colors are great and with the exception of a couple of shatters and a dupe - to me - of a yellow green, I have them all, so I wanted to share a handful.
OPI Grape...Set...Match
Three coats here, no top coat. Gorgeous deep royal purple loaded with blue shimmer. This glass fleck party is quite beautiful and if this is finish is something you enjoy, you might want to see that you own it. It's very difficult to mistake this dark color for black because of the blue and pink shimmers in the purple base.
OPI Glam Slam England Servin' Up Sparkle over OPI Grape...Set...Match
I popped two coats over the top of Grape...Set...Match and enjoyed this bold holographic glitter. A mix of larger holo hexes and a smaller holo glitter.
I somehow have two of these, and there are a lot of dupes, SC Fuji Fuji is very similar.
OPI Love is a Racket
This is a great red: bold as brass, neutral, not too cool at all. Can pull a bit warm, but full of glass fleck madness that shift around in some amber, pink and purple. Love it a lot.
Three coats over a nude, and a real favorite.
OPI Pros & Bronze
Here is a polish that does a double duty. It's a gorgeous warm bronze that feels like it's got it's fair share of some pink and purple glass fleck, too. It's got some "wow factor" going on.
Left to right over a nude:
Here is OPI Pros & Bronze over OPI Love is a Racket
It is a nice topper, and here it isn't my cup of tea, however it is pretty.
Here is OPI Pros & Bronze over China Glaze Golden Spurs
Here you can see the purple, pink, and gold glass fleck of OPI Pros & Bronze. Please enlarge!
I love this mani. Sometimes, as you can see in the bottom photo, it blends into the warm beige base, but when the light hits it just right, wow, so gorgeous.
So glad I got those blogged, I've had them in my "to do" drawer for far too long.
I think all of them are very unique, save the glitter, but the red seems similar to a few I already have, but Pros & Bronze is really a stand out for usefulness.

ReplyDeleteYaaas! :)
DeleteGrape...Set...Match is one of my favorites! This is an awesome collection that doesn't seem to get as much attention as others.
ReplyDeleteI agree, there were so many wins! (Just like Serena!!)
