Another Sheer Gets Its Groove Back

I received Confetti Blue Bombshell in a swap package. Great blue!

When I put it on, four coats later, I had this:

Whaaat? Perhaps worse than the sheer-factor, were the bubbles. Yes, you can enlarge it to see how many there are.

So, I cracked out my bottle of WetnWild Black Creme, two coats later...

One coat of Confetti Blue Bombshell and you get some groove on.

Pow! Pop!

Cue the music: I believe in miracles, you sexy thing, you sexy thing you!

Really redeemed this polish. At first I thought it was going to do the rounds in the donation box, but a black base created a monster of a shimmer in a deeper, richer blue.

Get down on it!

All right, stale disco references and all...

Thanks for reading my little nail polish journal!

  1. I own all the Confetti(s) I found interesting and yes they are all sheer hence I never wear them. I'll have to remember this so thanks for posting it.

  2. This is good to know! We don't have them here, so I only have about three!

  3. Oooh, nice layering! I don't have this Confetti but now I'm curious how it would look over my beloved Orly La Playa.

  4. Great idea! I should try more base variation under these sheers.

  5. Ooh, this looks good. I should try this brand out. I bet it would also be a good polish for a ruffian mani.
