This Sally Hansen was in a six-pack that I found in Ross a few years ago. I could not find the name of the polish, however, in any of the collections that were around, so I labeled it "aqua".
It has a bit of that middling sheer thing going on, though, you can see my stained nails peeking through, especially on the left finger. A base of nude or blue would help for sure!
These packs were full of these sorts of shimmers and the neat thing was that they were really more of layering polishes because they were so sheer. This one had the most "legs" and so I kept it apart.
What is nice, but not really visible in this photo, is that it has this purple duochrome that peeks in. Wow!
On a black background it is a little easier to see the purple, but on the left finger you can see it somewhat.
Perhaps not a "wow" on camera so much, but quite a wow in person. Mostly because I am a sucker for a purple shimmer.

I think this one is called Flash. I've got a full size of it, as I loved the Lacquer Shine line and bought every color I saw after I tried my first one (I'm still working on collecting some of the older colors from before I discovered I liked them).

I have a lot of these, most of them are really sheer, like hmmm, "why do I seem to have so many sheers?" sheer.

Yup, I was going to tell you that this one is "Flash" but KarenD beat me to it. I love the Lacquer Shine line too and bought a bunch of them off ebay. They sell for cheap there even with shipping.
ReplyDeleteIf you like polishes that are blackened on the outside but glow in the middle, then you need to get Luminous and Dazzling, both different shades of red. (Dazzling is the must have!) I've got like 2 or 3 backups of each of those colors since they are my favorites. I was wearing Gleaming last week since I asked my son what color I should wear today, and he answered magenta. It was amazing and glowy too and I couldn't stop looking at my hands! That's the thing I love about Lacquer Shine, they are all so glowy!
I wonder if these are still available?
ReplyDeleteI've got Spark, but I can't even figure out if these are discontinued, I don't see Lacquer Shine at the drug store.
Time to add to the eBay search function! :D
Spark is one of the Lacquer Shines I need to get, Flash is another come to think of it. They are discontinued, but you can find them all over ebay for cheap. If I remember correctly there is a seller who bundles a bunch of them together pretty reasonably, Cassie Cosmetics, otherwise you can just pick and choose the ones you want from individual sellers for cheap.
