Deep Water

Here is a layering project that took a few tries to get.

Finally it came together.

So much depth, so much subtle range. I love it when I get that combo.

The players:

Sorry about the titling! Still figuring out the software!

The players:
  • Sinful Colors See You Soon (a dupe of Too Rich For You from the Gossip Girl collection by Nicole OPI) is a dark teal blue, leaning more blue than green probably a marine type of blue.
  • Aquamarine Dream from Cover Girl was one of those "great periwinkle" polishes I wanted for a while and it kind of turned out to be a sheer layering polish. It imparts a bright blue shimmer.
  • Finally Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Sonar, from the glitter collection. I blogged it here.
Three coats of the base, two coats of Cover girl and two coats of Sally Hansen.

Really feels like the deep blue waters of the Agean Sea.

The addition of CG pulls the darkness out of the Sinful. The base of Sonar is a deep teal green jelly, but the bright blue base pushes through and I am pretty happy with it!

Thank you for reading my little nail polish journal!
