Moonlight, by E.L.F.

Kind of an office-y sort of disco polish.

I'm sorry you had to see this one, it's not something I am really even enjoying having. Came in a multi-pack at Ross, and I was having a sentimental moment before I cast it off into the Pile o' Purge. Three coats of brushtroke-y blah. I've got enough champagnes to last me a lifetime.

Upside, the formula was completely easy to work with (no bleeding up into my scraggly cuticles!) and three coats worked well, except my index on the right where you can see I blobbed some extra on. Why? to cover my de rigueur smudge!

This, however, reminds me of a 1970's B movie with some weird disco theme and lots of floppy hats and flared windowpane jeans.

Thank you for reading my little nail polish journal!

  1. What a shame. I'm really glad it seems companies are moving away from frosty finishes.

  2. Yup, Pile o' Purge is the place! I wish there was a good way to use these frosties...

  3. PurpleGreenJoy, keep an eye out for a Princessa post in a couple weeks!

LL, yes, if I could franken them or layer them, but they are too heavy to layer.

Maybe frosts will be all the rage again, but with all the cool finishes, why do companies keep coming out with them?

Hmmm...maybe there is a frost subculture I am unaware of!

  4. Yay!!!

Honestly, I think it's a cheap "filler" ingredient that dries fast and just happens to give a frosty look. It's my theory that light cremes are hard to do below a certain price point.

  5. Good point!

This is just about the time, though, I wonder "will the next couple years mean people will adore frosts?"

Then I will be frost free!

    ack!

    nah, stop second guessing myself!
    ;o)
