Randomness

Sometimes I stamp something onto something and it's kind of got a thing, but it needs another thing.

I blogged Sally Hansen Strike It Rich Mauve a long time ago, and I reach for it because it really is more of a rose than a mauve, and I love how it plays pink against beige.

I stamped it, then topped it.

Le result!

It's basically a stamping polish, I think American Apparel Hunter because I've been grabbing at it, that didn't have enough density to put enough pigment down. Yet it reminds me of gray and a bit like a 1930's design on a Japanse scarf.

I topped it with a gilded glass fleck topper, whose name I can't recall. Normally I take notes, but I didn't bother and forgot more than I remembered.

Ack.

Thanks for reading my little nail polish journal!

  1. I'm not sure if that's supposed to be an argyle pattern, but that's what it reminds me of...very pretty combo!
