Sheer Red Over White

Many people know that neons are always improved when worn over a white base.

I am always trying white here and there to see if it helps. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't seem to make any difference.

It's a deep red shimmer with scattered fine glitter. I've always liked it, but am not sure if it's really a pure glitter, so I keep it with the normal polishes, not glitters.  It's fairly deep and a cool ruby red.

Putting the white underneath really makes a difference.

Anyhow, finally blogged it with the correct name, previously blogged here w/the wrong name.

This is two coats and no top coat.

Instead of a ruby red, it has a bright almost neon cast to the red.

I was kind of gaga over it for quite a some time.

From a polish that has languished, it's turned into one that I really like a lot now.

This was an old Dollar Tree find. In a two-for-a-dollar pack that were prevalent back in 2009 and 2010.
You can still find it on eBay. Nice!

Thanks for reading my little nail polish journal!
