I've got 303 of them. Polishes that is. It's a color addition. If I wear a different polish a week for the next two years, I might get through them. I have several doubles (triples) of things like Cashmere Cardigan and things in the "blue violet" category. Some extra greens.
It is odd, though, that I am finding that there are some legendary colors you read about on the web: OPI Jade, Nars Zulu etc that are also covet-worthy, but so out of reach. Unless you are driving through that small town and hit a beauty supply with a bottle sitting on the shelf.
I do worry about lemming, though. I don't want to get all over a color that may not be that good or live up to the hype. A color that is like this is the new Chanel Jade green. It's a mint green that is very similar to several on the market but with a slight whiff of shimmer and of course probably the most perfect formula on the planet earth. Sublime, I am sure. But, is it worth $70 on Ebay? Or the phantasmagorical Clarins plum that is not only legend but going for triple digits on Ebay? There must be a dozen polish companies who have made that color by now.
Am I too new to understand?
On the other end of the spectrum, I went into Walmartland to find a Hard Candy polish "Mr. Wrong" a silvery taupe foil with purple. What? Heaven in a bottle? I also mosied over to the H'ween section and found little emerald blue green polishes and an orange.
It's chalky and cheapy, but I want to goof around with the greens, and for a buck, if I kill it, I won't feel sad.
I am wearing the orange. A dull medium pumpkin orange that brightens my day and of course makes my skin look blah. Two coats and probably needs three. I didn't even have the heart to photograph my wild application.
Photos soon of a couple of manicures. Nervous to see my finglets in pixels on the web. And figuring out a watermark as well as how to use Flickr. Yeah, a Luddite twonk. oy!
The spreadsheet categories are as follows:

I might go back and add the color family, though with my storage space being what it is, it's hard to get too wild about breaking them down.
