Most Beautiful

I guess if I had a nail polish company I'd name my polishes after girls names, but probably with a twist, like the name meaning rather than the name.

Zoya names them after women's names. I like that.

Here's my nemisis: Kalista

I have to say that it was a nightmare trying to get this dry.

I finally did, and added a glitter top coat - a gorgeous Ulta Gold called Gold Digger - and it melted.

I tried it again tonight because I had bad tip wear on day one with minimal usage and it was three tough attempts until I gave up.

There is an aura of failure around this polish for me, I don't know if its the brand or this color. I love it, though, it's a burgundy tending toward the brown and a lot of shimmer to boot!

Thanks for reading my little nail polish journal!

  1. This is pretty! I've heard you can't use quick-dry topcoats with a certain ingredient in them over Zoyas. The last time I wore one of mine. I used a regular clear over the color then my quick dry.

  2. Thank you for that tip!!! I will try that. I really wrestled with this polish, and I am concerned about others, I've got about 30 or so Zoyas and some are really unique!

  3. I didn't know about the quick dry topcoat problem with Zoyas. I've never had that problem. It's such a pretty shade.

  4. I will have to toy with base coats more, too, I think.
