Everyone was delighted when WetnWild came out with their Craze collection in the fall. Heck, I bought them all! Sweet little bottles, nifty application, cool graphic on the cap, and nice colors. Though I feel that the brush is short and tip wear was a real issue. A consideration, for sure!
You may think that this is very similar to the old WetnWild's "Blackest Green", but it is not. The shimmer here is more evident. The green itself is easier to see. Finally, the green is more on the true green side, less of a blue green. "Blackest Green", judging by the bottle shape and the way the shimmer moves inside is "B3F", that is "before 3 free". This is lighter, foresty, but not that blue pine color.
I would also say that it isn't my favorite of the two. I really love, love, love "Blackest Green", as it's really sort of the shimmer version of a black green. This on is good, but not a favorite. Why do I have three bottles? Well, good question. I'm still trying to organize my stash, and I accidentally thought I'd love this! Doesn't this happen to everyone?
This does, however, make a great base for glitter! The dark green shimmer is a nice alternative to black!
To wit:
I added Sinful's "Pearl Harbor" over it. I never expected "Pearl Harbor" to be this color. It picked up the green, also came out aqua, royal and purple! Nice!
I need to thin out the Sinful glitter, but it dried quickly, as glitters seem to do.
"Pearl Harbor" (what a name!) is an innocuous glitter, you see the iridescence, and think "meh", then you see how it bends the light!
My nails felt like a mermaid's scales. Plus, with the glitter, tipwear slowed down considerably!
Thanks for reading!
